Republic Day reminds us of our struggle, of youths achieving its demand of Purn Swaraj. It also reminds us of the sacred values enshrined in the constitution of India; it is a day of national pride. In India, Republic Day is no less than a festival, the whole country regardless of caste, creed and religion beams with joy and happiness. The entire country is laced in tri-colour is to convey that India is a nation where" Unity in Diversity is celebrated.

Republic Day inspires us to maintain the Unity, Equality and pride of our nation. Our nation is the greatest in the world but let us strive to make it even better.

Republic Day is a national festival in India. We celebrate this day on 26th January every year. On 26th January 1950, India became a republic. Our constitution came into force on this day. The constitution of India is the supreme law of India and it is the largest written constitution in the world. It gives us fundamental rights like freedom of speech, education, religion and more.

Republic means" A state where people enjoy supreme Power, freedom and choose their representatives. They got this tremendous power /freedom as India had got its new constitution of this day. Earlier India had no constitution. The country had no means to provide its people with such power and freedom within some limits. On the same date i.e. On 26 January 1950, Dr. Rajendra Prasad became the first President of Republic India.

On this auspicious occasion in Delhi. Our President hoists the flag and the parade is organized on Raj path from Vijay Chowk to India gate. In this parade, the armed forces display their vigor, enthusiasm and weaponry. Bravery awards are also given to citizens and children of the nation to motivate people and bring them a sense of nationalism and pride to the nation. Schools, colleges and other educational institutions celebrate this day with great pomp and show.

On this occasion our little learners performed patriotic dance .little learners sang a patriotic song. Nursery learners did collage work on a map, learners did pen cap activity on a map and Sr. kg learners did sponge dabbing activity on the map and show their love for the nation.

"One flag,
