Updated: Jan 27
A thousand salutes to all the people involved in making our constitution. May we make it become even more prosperous and great. Take pride you live in a country that has such a diverse glorious history and rich heritage.

India is celebrating its 74th Republic Day today. Our school, Shree H. J. Gajera English Medium School commemorated this 74th Republic Day in a befitting manner. The celebration was held in the assembly area of Gujarati Medium. Along with the Guests invited which included our Managing Trustees Shri Chunibhai Gajera, Shri Bakulbhai Gajera, Ms. Kinjal Gajera, the Principals, Vice Principals, Educators, all non academic staff and even learners were present to glorify and celebrate the spirit of unity and brotherhood. The program started with the NCC Team parade, followed by the flag hoisting by Dr. Bhaumik Prabhatsinh Thakor and the revered guests present for the ceremony today. After the completion of flag hoisting the guests were felicitated by Mr. Jayeshbhai Patel, Dr. Gulbben Vasani, the Principals Mr. Asish Debnath, Ms. Sonia Budhiraja, Mr. Rajan Gautam, Mr. Bhavesh Ghelani and Ms. Bhavisha Solanki.

The cultural programme commenced with the welcome songs rendered by the School Choir. Following which various dance performances and the true talent enactment by the students of gymnastic and yoga was also there. All the performances were spectacular. The compound echoed with the patriotic cultural program. The Chief Guests in their speeches highlighted the significance of the day, and made the viewers aware that the future of their country lies in the hands of the young generation.

It was followed by the Blood Donation Camp which was arranged in the Gujarati Medium Conference Hall. The guests, the staff members as well as few noble citizens donated their blood for the social cause. The programme ended with the ‘Vote of thanks’ by the speaker of the day Mr. Bhavesh Ghelani. In India, Republic Day is not less than a festival, the whole country regardless of caste, creed, and religion beams with joy and happiness. Republic Day reminds us of our struggle, how the Indian National Congress (INC) with the help of youths achieved its demand of Purn Swaraj. It also reminds us of the sacred values enshrined in the Constitution of India; it is a day of national pride. The entire country is laced in tri-colours to convey that India is a nation where "Unity in Diversity" is celebrated.

Happy Republic Day 2023.
