Big Salute to Our Roots - Grandparents Day Celebration

Grandparents are a family’s greatest treasure, the founders of a loving legacy, the greatest storytellers, the keepers of traditions. Grandparents are the family’s strong foundation. Through their special love and care, grandparents keep a family close at heart. To honour them we celebrated Grandparents Day on 10th October 2022 in our school campus.

The function started with welcoming the grandparents followed by Deep Prajwalan. Learners dedicated speech and poems to Dada Dadi. Educators presented beautiful drama and dance depicting the ancient and modern dada dadi.

To balance the tones set by the events thus far, educators organized games in which grandparents participated with great zeal. The general mood was one of exultation and everyone seemed truly happy.

At the end educators personally greeted and interacted with each grandparent. It was a successful event indeed, and the School as always would be pleased to organize many such more events. It was truly a memorable day for the grandparents which will be cherished by them throughout their lives.
