"Celebration Of A Bond Between Gurus And Disciples"

Gurupurnima reflects on our life and honor the wisdom that life has offered. It is a day to be grateful. When we see how wisdom has transformed our life, we feel grateful for all that has come our way. Thus we at Gajera Farm School celebrated this festival of gratitude.The function began on a happy note with the learners singing the prayer.

There was special assembly dedicated to the educators, the ‘gurus’ to mark the event replete with speeches and songs. Speeches of the learners highlighted the importance of the Guru in our lives. This was followed by the learners of the school seeking the blessings of all the educators of the school by touching their feet. They encouraged the learners to lead a good life.

Two different set up was made Ancient and Modern in which learners were explained teaching of Ancient and Modern Education system. Educators also emphasized that how the knowledge imparted in both the system and their importance. Learners also did different activities of Guru Purnima in the classes.

It is truly said that parents are visible God and so few parents were too invited wherein learners bowed down and thanked them for guiding them all the time explaining the difference between good and bad, keeping them attached to moral values. Parents blessed the children and motivated them to follow the footprints of their gurus.

Principal and Vice principal made the learners aware of the fact that everyday could be Guru Purnima in their lives when they honour what life has taught them. Wisdom is there in each and every one of us, but we must throw light on our life, because when we throw light on our life, wisdom dawns.

All the educators were felicitated by the learners, and given a token of love.

Thus, an environment of enthusiasm was experienced by every learners and was memorable event to all in the department. The function was concluded with gaiety all around.
