"Celebration of Guru Purnima"

"Guru is creator Brahma; Guru is preserver Vishnu; Guru is also the destroyer Shiva and he is the source of the Absolute. I offer all my salutations to the Guru."

Guru, such a small word but has a great weight. Guru Purnima is celebrated by Hindus, Buddhists, Jains every year on the full moon day. In Guru 'Gu' means darkness and 'Ru' means someone who removes darkness. Thus, a Guru is believed to be someone who removes all darkness from our lives. There have been many enlightened personalities from time to time cherishing humanity and getting harmony in society.

Guru Purnima is also known as Vyas Poornima. On this day Veda Vyasa, the author of Mahabharata was born. Ed Vyasa is known to be the original Guru of the Hindu religion. This day is celebrated as a mark of respect to the Guru, a teacher, or a preacher. Hindus show much respect to their Gurus. Gurus are often regarded as Gods.

An educator plays an important role in a learner's life. Guru Purnima is a day traditionally dedicated to both academic and spiritual teachers, who help us in leading a fulfilled, happy life. A Guru not only teaches and gives us the knowledge but also shows the right path of lead our life and enlightened ourselves. One of the first teachers in everyone's life is our mother, who gives us birth. It is believed that mothers give birth to us but a Guru recognizes our talent and carves a perfect picture of a complete person. An age-old Sanskrit phrase 'Mata Pitah Guru Daivam' says that the first place is reserved for the mother, second for the father, third for the Guru, and fourth for the God. Thus, teachers have been given a higher place than Gods in Hindu tradition.

" Guru always helps one to get the knowledge and stands beside the learners when they have problems."

Learner's mental and emotional development starts at a very stage in their life and if nurtured by an educator from a young age, learners can derive the following benefits.....

👉 Constructive mental abilities

👉 Optimistic Outlook

👉 Develop gratitude

👉 Sharing is caring

👉 Build physical stamina

We celebrate this day by thanking our educators for getting the blessing. People spend this entire day in prayer and take fresh resolves for spiritual progress. Guru helps to gain knowledge of who we are, how to relate with the world, and how to achieve true success. On this day God has given us the best opportunity to worship our Guru and heartily thanks them for all the knowledge.

Here at Gajera school, we have arranged a shloka competition for little learners. Through this competition, the learners came to know the importance of Guru in their life. On our campus, we have celebrated Guru Purnima by worshipping the parents and educators, and also learners dedicated a beautiful song to Gurus. Here our parents and learners have given a motivational speech for the hard work of Guru.

" You were a light for me in the dark,

You were an inspiration and an aspiration, Support me always, I will succeed in all ways."

Happy Guru Purnima!
