Updated: Jan 23
The journey of life is full of hard work and to create opportunities. Every work has got to pass through hundreds of difficulties before getting success. Youth day is about using your skills, hidden talents, decisions, future plans.
The Indian Government has declared Swami Vivekananda's birthday, January 12, as National Youth Day to honor the great spiritual leader, and to encourage the youth in the country. On account of this, we celebrate Swami Vivekananda Jayanti as a day dedicated to the youth. But what is the connection between him and the youth? How is a spiritual and religious leader connected to the youth?
We, at Shree H. J. Gajera English Medium Primary school have celebrated National Youth Day by conducting an Elocution Competition on 12th January, 2023. Learners of grade 6th and 7th participated in this elocution compitition. They all have inspired by Swami Vivekananda. They gave speech on different topics like
1. India of my dreams
2. Preparing Today's Youth for Tomorrow's World
3. "Make in India" for New mindset, new process.
4. Start up India for New opportunities
5. Youth for Drugs free world.
Our learners came to know that the youth of today understands this message of focusing on hard work, personal growth, and a strong mindset, they can achieve goals in life. The opportunity that India has today as a young nation can bear fruit if the youth dedicates himself or herself to innovation and creativity.
