Grandparents Day Celebration

“What children need most are the essentials that grandparents provide in abundance. They give unconditional love, kindness, patience, humour, comfort, lessons in life.

Grandparents are special to every child. The grandparents are the very roots and foundation of a family and children look up to the grandparents for emotional support and unconditional love. They are also the wise and experienced ones we turn to, in times of trouble. Their knowledge is invaluable and their bed-time stories are integral part of everyone's growing up years. We at Shree H.J. Gajera English Medium School celebrated Grandparents Day and invited STD-VI & VII wonderful grandparents of our students and felicitated them.

The function started with welcoming the grandparents with Old Hindi Song Dance that made them nostalgic of their good old times.

Grandparents are the family’s greatest treasure, the founders of a loving legacy, the greatest storytellers, and the keepers of tradition. Grandparents are the family’s strong foundation. Through their special love and care, grandparents keep a family close at heart. It started with a Welcome Speech by Ms. Priti Patel and the program continued in the assembly area with Musical Chair and Book Balancing competition by grandparents. The grandparents were delighted to participate in this activity. Appropriate music and enthusiastic grandparent made the events wonderful.

Our Principal Mr. Asish Debnath addressed the importance of celebrating the grandparents’ day. He emphasized gratitude to all the grandparents and for the important role they play in positive attachments and family life.

All the grandparents thoroughly enjoyed and adored the idea of celebrating Grand Parent’s Day in our School. The winners from the game were greeted with Trophy and Certificate by the Principal. The day was filled with oodles of blessings, happy faces, excitement and cheer as the budding stars of Shree H.J. Gajera English Medium School displayed their love and affection for their grandparents.
