Guru Purnima Celebration


India is a county of diverse culture, race, religion, language and traditions. Indian people attached with their society’s traditions and ritual and follow it strongly. All the festivals of India are interwoven with various religions they faith in. Such like this, Guru Purnima is a fest dedicated to all teachers and mentors. This festival is celebrated to honor Saint Veda Vyas as well as it is also celebrated to pay tribute to Lord Buddha. The Buddhist community celebrates it as Buddha Purnima.

We here at, Shree H. J. Gajera English Medium Primary School have celebrated GURU PURNIMA on 13th July, 2022 to pay honor to all our mentors, Guides and Gurus. From ancient period, Gurus are considered highest among all other relations in the world. A Guru Can be a philosopher, guide, friend and teacher. Guru Purnima reminds all of us the roles of our teachers, mentors who helps us to make successful life.

The word ‘Guru’ is the combination of two words, Gu means Darkness and Ru means one who eliminates. So at first, We have celebrated the day by lightning the lamp for them who eliminates our life. Light is energy/power which is bright just like that the words and guidance of our Guru is also make our mind and soul bright by removing evils ideas from our mind. After that Our Vice Principal Sir Mr.Rakesh Upadhyay welcome all the guests, educators, students and all the people present over there.

At last, Our Principal Sir Mr. Asish Debnath has deliver vote of thanks to everyone who directly and indirectly associate with this celebration.
