International Mother Language Day celebration

International Mother Language Day is celebrated annually on 21 February to promote awareness of linguistic and cultural diversity and multilingualism. A language is much more than just a way of communicating. Language, and particularly our mother tongue, is an important part of our culture. Some people even think that our language can change how we see the world. The introduction of mother language will not only promote linguistic diversity and much language-based education. It will contribute to the development and understanding of linguistic and cultural heritage. World solidarity will be strengthened based on mutual understanding, tolerance, and dialogue. Therefore, ‘International Mother Language Day’ will play an effective role in the development and spread of mother language.

The learners and educators of primary section celebrated the International Mother Language Day to pay deep respect and love towards their mother language which should always be preserved in one’s heart.
