LEARNERS ORGANIZED AWARENESS CAMPAIGN THROUGH STREET PLAY

Our school Shree H. J. Gajera English Medium School, Primary Section arranged a street play on 12/12/2022 (Monday) to make the general public more conversant about the occasion of National Energy Conservation Day which is celebrated every year on 14th December. Every year we do celebrate this day by organizing some activities with the learners. But this year it was a bit different. The learners performed march past from the school to Ramji Krupa Society, Katargam, Surat and played out short skits on the topic of Saving Water, Planting

Saplings and Saying no to Plastics. The main purpose of this street play was to make the surrounding communities aware about these important concepts as well as to draw attention to the importance of celebrating the National Energy Conservation Day by taking steps that could help our nature to sustain. Whether it is natural energy or manmade energy, renewable source of energy or non-renewable source of energy, our primary concern must be they should not be wasted or depleted. To spread this crucial message which our learners learn in the school and to remind the society what they already know, this street play was organized by our school. The residents of the society attended the play and appreciated the efforts taken by the learners. They even took an oath to plant more trees to mark the day on 14th December.
