Merry Christmas !!!!

“Christmas is the season of joy, of gift-giving, and of families united.”

To celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ, who, according to the Christian religion, is the son of God, Christmas is celebrated all around the world. The name is a joining of “Christ” and “mass” which means the holy mass (supper, celebration or festival) of Christ. Christmas is celebrated on December 25 every year and is both a sacred religious holiday and a worldwide cultural and commercial phenomenon. To mark and celebrate this day popular customs which includes exchanging of gifts, decorating the Christmas tree, attending church, sharing meals with family and friends and, of course, waiting for Santa Claus to arrive are put into practice. Gajera trust believes that every religion is equal so even this day is celebrated with gusto in all the Gajera group of schools.

Today we had celebrated Christmas in our school, Shree H. J. Gajera English Medium School. The celebration beg


an with the speech on Christmas by learners of class 3rd and 4th. This was followed by a fabulous dance performance by the learners of grade 1 to 4 for which our educators helped in choreography. A drama too was orchestrated by the learners to spread the message of to love, to give, to share and to care is the best way to preach God and we should not neglect any needy person. The script of the drama as well as its implementation too was taken care by the talented educators of our school. At the end of the programme our respected Principal Sir gave motivational speech to the learners to inspire them. At the end of this blog, we wish you all…..
