"NATION FIRST, ALWAYS FIRST

India celebrated its 75th Independence Day on August 15, this year. The day is observed as the culmination of our decades-long attempt to achieve freedom from colonial domination. Throughout the history of mankind India has periodically given a new thought; Buddhism, Jainism, Vedantic thought, Yoga philosophy, Sikhism, great tradition of bhakti yoga of Kabir, Rahim, Tulsidas, Surdas etc., and the great ideas of non-violence and sustainable development by Mahatma Gandhi. This year theme of Independence Day’s celebrations is ‘Nation First, Always First’. The theme marks the importance of patriotism in the hearts of Indians to promote our country on a global platform.


To mark the historic moment, the day is celebrated every year with cultural program flag hoisting ceremonies and other competitions, across the country. On this very day, flag hoisting ceremony was organized. The chief guest Mr. R. M. Patel, Principal and Dean of Gujarat Agricultural Bio-Technology Institute did the honours of hoisting the national flag. Mr. Chuni bhai Gajera Sir, other dignitaries, Principals, Vice Principals, Educators, Students and Parents witnessed the ceremony. To mark the celebration, an assemblage of events took place ranging from patriotic songs to dance performances. The splendid performances created the atmosphere of national pride on the premises of the school’s campus. Gajera Trust firmly believe to empower

every soul and to be the supporting arm to the society. We, at Gajera Trust understands our responsibilities towards the community and will fulfill them in the best way we can. A blood donation camp was also organized on today in which nearly 110 donors donated their blood.

The greatest resource of India is its people. If we can unleash their creativity then they can create great wealth and make India a very happy place to live and work in. “This Independence Day let’s take a pledge to protect the peace and unity of our great nation. Happy Independence Day!
