IT’S ABOUT WHY NOT?

In every aspect of our lives, science is omnipresent and omnipotent. Science is the main protagonist in every part of our lives. February 28 was designated as National Science Day (NSD) by Government of India in 1987. Since this day is celebrated throughout the country with great enthusiasm to commemorate the discovery of the Raman Effect by physicist Sir C.V. Raman.

The theme for National Science Day, NSD 2023 is 'Global Science for Global Wellbeing' embarking India's emerging global role and rising visibility in the international arena.

The budding scientists of our school demonstrated their projects and gain exposure to new technologies and innovative ideas. This gives them an opportunity to interact with experts from different areas, share ideas and learn about new scientific methods. It also gives them a platform to display their knowledge and skills in the field of science, which will be beneficial for their career prospects in the future. Such event help students build relationships with peers from different backgrounds, learn from each other's experiences, and create opportunities for collaboration.

The marvelous and magnificent working models of generating electricity by waste materials, human following Robot, voice operating wheelchair, educational App design, magnetic train, menstruation cycle, Physics experiment on Tesla, etc., were some innovative captures.

Younger students who visited the stalls were thrilled to understand complex systems through simple models and charts. They left with bright faces that reflected the vast amount of knowledge they had gained from the innovative exhibits. The models, their explanation and justification for the questions posed by the students were highly appreciated by the parents and other visitors. Our students proved their efficiency by answering spontaneously to the questions.
