National Unity Day Celebration

National Unity Day or Rashtriya Ekta Diwas is celebrated on October 31st every year to mark the birth anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel. The objective is to maintain the nation's unity and aims to spread awareness about Patel's contribution to nation history.

Shree H. J. Gajera English Medium School celebrated National Unity day on 30th October. The event was graced by guests which included fellow principals of Gajera Vidhyabhavan, Mr. Bhavesh Ghelani, Ms. Sonia Budhiraja and Ms. Bhavisha Solanki along with our respected principal sir Mr. Asish Debnath. Selected grade 6th & 7th learners performed activities like prayer, dance, sang patriotic songs and gave speech on Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel. The anchoring was done by Mr. Rahul Gamit. While rest of the learners enjoyed the event and they took pledge of Unity, integrity & security of nation & this pledge in the spirit of unification of our country which was made possible by vision and actions of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel. The program ended with the National Anthem.

Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel‘s effort towards national integration led Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel to be referred to as the iron man of India. The purpose of the unity day is to motivate and inspire people to follow as a tribute to Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel.
