Raksha Bandhan Celebration

Rakshabandhan is an auspicious festival which is celebrated in all over India. India is a land of traditions, rituals, believes and beliefs, celebrations and religious moments and people can show all these by celebrating various festivals connected to it. Local, Statewide, National and International festivals are also celebrated throughout the year at every corner of India. Among all, some festival shows the importance of human relations, to show humanity towards others, Service to the society and so on.

So here, we at Shree H.J.Gajera English Medium Primary School, Katargam branch celebrated Rakshabandhan festivals on 10th August, 2022 “with a view to develop bondage among siblings “not only this day but in their day to day life. As we all know, siblings carry a special place in our hearts. However, the particular bond of a bother and sister is unique. The care they have for each other knows no bounds. The love they share is beyond compare. So to show this unique bond, we have arranged two competitions, first Rakhi Making Competition for class 1 to 4 and second Gift Box making competition for class 5 to 7. All the learners actively and enthusiastically participated in the competition.

All the learners actively and enthusiastically participated in the competition. Many have made unique Rakhi from grade I to IV. They have used many artificial pearls, diamonds, colorful threads and many other useful items to make Rakhi. They made Rakhi on various themes. While, on the other side, learners of grade V to VII show their artistic skills and made many beautiful Gift box by using various colorful plastic rappers and papers, cardboard, gum and ice-cream sticks. They made verities of Gift Box for various purposes.


Thus, we can say that, this day has been rightly recognized to have a good time and focus on this beautiful bond. It serves as a symbol of their love, togetherness and sharing with each other.
