"RECITE AND REJOICE –SHLOKA COMPETITION"

Chanting of shlokas has been prevalent in Indian culture for hundreds of centuries. It is the recitation of words that have spiritual meaning. It positively affects the cognitive functioning of the brain. Studies have shown that chanting shlokas helps to improve concentration and memory power in children. That’s because shlokas emit vibrations that activate the chakras (on the face and head) that play a role in learning and focus.

With the motto of promoting the teaching & learning of Indian culture and to inculcate the values, SHLOKA CHANTING COMPETITION was held for Pre toddlers. Two rounds were conducted in this competition which was judged by Mrs Anila Jethava who is working with Gajera Main Branch since 8 years. She judged the learners on the basis of Confidence, presentation ability and costumes.

Students recited Shlokas with great spontaneity and enthusiasm. Learners participated wholeheartedly in the competition. They showcased their oratory skills by reciting shlokas with great confidence. Their performance on stage was appreciated by all.
