Role Play Competition for Grade I to IV

Today SHREE H.J.GAJERA ENGLISH MEDIUM SCHOOL, PRIMARY SECTION, KATARGAM, organized role play competition for our learners of standard 1st to 4th on the theme of "My Role Model”.

In that, the learners played different roles which inspired them in their life like Swami Vivekananda, Bhagat Singh, Narendra Modi, Teacher, Doctor, Baba Harbajan Singh, etc. Role playing is a dramatization of a character chosen by an individual to represent in front of public. The objective of the competition was not only to blend learning with fun but also to develop confidence in the little ones. It helps the learners to experience the situation emotionally and to develop an insight on the life of the said characters. Through this role play competition students can increase their self-confidence and remove the stage fear.

The excitement of our young learners knew no bounds as they waited eagerly for their turn to perform. Resplendent in their costumes and glowing in all their finery, they emulated the renowned national leaders and famous personalities with confidence and passion. The students portrayed themselves as these personalities with great conviction and confidence. Our learners had performed very well. It was a tough competition among the learners. The students were so electrifying on the stage that the judges had a tough time to select the best out of all the breath-taking performances.

The joy of role play is that students can become anyone they like for a short period of time! The president, Teacher, Doctor, The choice is endless! This memorable event definitely appreciates for a special mention of educators and parents who had prepared the students for the event.
