STORY TELLING COMPETITION

Updated: Aug 3

Stories are the most influential thing in our lives. For children, it's even more beneficial. Storytelling is a unique way for learners to develop an understanding, respect and appreciation for other cultures and can promote a positive attitude to people from different lands, races and religions. It opens up the vivid imagination that runs wild in children.

"The purpose of a storytelling is not to tell you how to think, but to give you questions to think upon." - BRANDON SANDERSON

Competitions are the best way to build the confidence in children. Keeping this in mind, ENGLISH STORYTELLING COMPETITION was conducted in Shree H. J. Gajera English Medium School, Primary Section for STD 1st to 4th learners to enhance the confidence and speaking skills of the learners. The preliminary round took place on 19th June,2023 and the final round was conducted on 27th June,2023.

The tiny tots participated in the competition actively and enthusiastically and performed spectacularly narrating their favourite stories with awesome enthusiasm, props, action, voice modulation and impressive expressions which impressed the judges very much.

The competition was judged by Ms. Neha Patel and Ms. Aruna Gondaliya. The competition was thoroughly enjoyed by everyone. The little storytellers won everyone's heart and were applauded. It reflected the efforts of the children and parents put in along with the support of the educators. It was a fun-filled competition.
