TEACHER'S DAY CELEBRATION

“If you have to put someone on a pedestal, put teachers. They are society's heroes.” - Guy Kawasaki. In India, September 5 is celebrated as Teacher's Day, to mark the centennial of the birth of the illustrious Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan, the second President of India.
Since 1962, this day has been celebrated across schools, colleges, universities, and educational institutions. This year Teacher's Day theme is ‘’Teachers at the heart of education recovery.’’
Teachers Day is not just about celebrating the individuals who impart knowledge but who also have a huge impact on the society. Teachers are the foundation of quality education.

To express gratitude to their mentors and acknowledge the profound influence they have on their lives, students celebrate this day with lot of emotions and feelings. The day involves presenting flowers, sweets, chocolates, and gifts, including handmade cards, to convey their gratitude and affection for their favorite teachers.
Students presented flowers and card to our visionary excellence Mr. Chuni bhai Gajera Sir and to various dignitaries, principals and vice principals of different sections in the campus.

A scintillating cultural show was planned and organized by the student’s council members and event management students singlehandedly for their teachers, as a token of their love, respect, acknowledgement and recognition of the hard work put in by them towards their development a cultural show was organized which incorporated poems, songs, and dance performances on some peppy numbers.

All the teachers applauded overwhelming zeal and enthusiasm of the students for making such a glorious program to cherish forever. The program reminded the teachers of their school days and made them feel nostalgic.

The role reversal - students playing role of their teachers also enabled students to empathize with their educators and appreciate their dedication. Students have prepared themselves on the ongoing semester subjects to teach and deliver lectures in first four periods.

A special gathering was organized in the school conference hall where all the students who played the role of a teacher extended their experience of becoming a one day teacher. Students also shared their views on their teaching experience and managing students in the classroom. They all understood that to teach and to be a teacher is not the easy job.

The principal congratulated the teachers and acknowledged the sincere efforts of every teacher for painstaking effort they selflessly put in every day. He also appreciated student’s efforts for putting up a great program and for their successful coordination. With this, he asked the students to applaud the teachers for their contribution, dedication, and assiduousness.

Taking the celebrations a notch further a snack-party for the teachers and students was organized by the management.
"Teachers can change lives with the right mix of chalk and challenges."
