"The International Plastic Bag Free Day "

"The International Plastic Bag Free Day "is celebrated every year on 3rd July, with an aim to raise awareness about the issues of plastic pollution and its harmful impact on the natural environment. We here at Shree H.J. Gajera English Medium School, Primary Section have celebrated "World plastic bag free day" to spread more awareness of harmfulness of using plastics in our day to day life.

Our learners and Educators together put strong effect through the activities, demonstrate and short speech to remove plastics from daily use and its alternatives. Learners of grade 1 to 4 made paper bags and told everyone about its benefits. They have made attractive and colorful paper bags with the rough and waste materials available at their home with the message that “Charity begins at home. Learners also shows the causes of using plastics bags to humans, animals and our planet Earth.

In that respect, We have also organized “Elocution Competition” on “How to reduce plastic use in our daily life “for grade 6 & 7. In that competition students had participate enthusiastically. The educator, Miss Twinkle Patel hosted the competition and encouraged students. The competition was judged by Miss Priti Patel and Sunita punch. Every participant tried their best to suggest many solutions, actions, steps to be taken for reducing plastic use in life. Judges have selected best 3 by giving them rank 1st, 2nd and 3rd according to the score they have achieved from 30.

Plastics give a helping hand, but they are polluting our land!
