World Mental Health Day

World Mental Health Day 2023 is an opportunity for people and communities to unite behind the theme 'Mental health is a universal human right” to improve knowledge, raise awareness and drive actions that promote and protect everyone's mental health as a universal human right

10th of October is celebrated as World Mental Health Day. A day to talk about mental health and show everyone that mental health matters. It is an opportunity for global mental health education, awareness and advocacy against social stigma. Today, we had a panel of distinguished psychologist and psychiatrists, who provided a better understanding about mental issues.

The doctors and counsellors highlighted many aspects of how a human brain works and how the thoughts affect individual’s caliber and overall progress. They ensured that acknowledging mental issues/problems is as normal and important as any of the physical ailments; as psyche is inevitably connected to physical and emotional well-being too.

They urged to develop yogic aptitude to bring about the strength and stability between body and mind. They kindly offered their services to our students in regard to any of their psychological and mental concerns ensuring the confidentiality of the matter.
