Since 1962, September 5 has been celebrated as Teachers' Day in India to honor Dr. Radhakrishnan's remarkable approach toward education and students. Becoming a teacher requires strong conviction and utmost commitment. Teachers are the first people who encourage us to be creative, trigger our curiosity and activate logical questioning and reasoning.
Teacher’s day is one of the most memorable days in the life of a teacher and a student. It is celebrated to acknowledge the indispensable role of a teacher in guiding and preparing the students to not only chase their passion in the choicest field. Teachers also motivate students achieve their dreams by keeping their moral values and sense of social responsibility intact.
Each school has a different ways to celebrate this special day. Today on the occasion of Teacher’s Day, students impersonated their teachers and went to classes to conduct the lectures of their subjects. All the teachers were excited to see their students in the new role play. Students of Event Management Club and Cultural Coordinators performed a scintillating cultural show to denote their love, respect, acknowledgement and recognition of the hard work put in by the teachers towards their development. They had been planning and for the grand event for a week. The students undertook a great effort in decorating the conference hall with intricate detailing and ensured that teachers are engaged and enjoy the event thoroughly. The event started with a National Anthem, melodious prayer followed by phenomenal dance performances, a skit, stand-up comedy, speeches by Head Boy and Head Girl and dare games for their Teachers. All the student’s performances were the highlight of the event, there were giggles echoing all around the hall. All teachers enjoyed and appreciated the program.
Program concluded with Vice Principal’s Thanks note to all the students on behalf of staff and appreciated them for their successful coordination.
